This picture illustrates how clever use

of log roll and bark chippings have been

used to create a low maintenance and

attractive border.  When we arrived the

area was weed infested and difficult to

access due to the steepness of the

bank – in fact the owner had to wear

his golf shoes to maintain his grip. Now,

with a water permeable membrane under

the bark, weeding is a thing of the past.
