This water feature was designed
with the idea of utilising the
genuine
mill stone which had been
donated
to the school at the forefront
of our
minds. As the stone came from
what
had been the local mill it was a
valuable piece of the children's
heritage and could form part of
a
history lesson. Although this
one was
so heavy that it needed to be
hoisted
into place by the local
builder’s
merchant’s hiab there are much
more
manageable versions available
for
domestic use.
