This is an example of how several features

can be used in a small garden without any

sense of overcrowding. The attractive

gold and grey of the paving is nicely

complimented by the surrounding golden

gravel. Two paths lead from this paving,

one to the garage steps and the other to

the arbour which was purchased in kit

form and assembled on site. A small

raised brick bed with two metal arches for

climbing plants finishes off a simple but

effective scheme.
